Sian’s Books is a curatorial-based book archive that began with research and collecting of color analog photography books and has expanded beyond photography publications into a broader field of contemporary art books.

Initially, Sian’s Books focused on exploring the aesthetic and archival values of color analog photography, researching, collecting and introducing photography books that embody the artistic vision of photographers and the cultural contexts of their time. Through this process, the archive has continued to expand its scope by collecting, preserving and presenting a diverse range of art publications, including signed editions, first editions, exhibition catalogs and artist books.

Photography books and art books are not merely publications; they are independent artistic records that contain an artist’s perspective, philosophy, creative process and the cultural discourses of their era. Based on this understanding, Sian’s Books presents carefully curated collections and develops exhibitions and curatorial programs that explore the intersection of image, materiality, archive and artistic experience.

Sian’s Books aims to explore diverse languages of visual art through photography books and art publications while continuously expanding the archival and cultural value of books.
